Customize colors in web-based presentations

Customize colors in web-based presentations

You can customize the colors used in Web-based
presentations to suit your tastes. By default, the
Outline and Notes panes in online presentations have
a black background with white fonts. Similarly, the
area behind the slide is black. However, you can
publish your presentations using colors that
coordinate with your presentation’s look and feel
instead of using the default black.

You can change Web presentation colors as part of
PowerPoint’s Web options. When you use the
Presentation colors (accent color) option, PowerPoint
uses the default colors and primary font color from
the design theme that is applied to your
presentation. For example, if you use the Foundry
theme colors, which are mostly green, you may want
the Outline, Notes, and Presentation panes to use the
same green colors as well.

After preferences have been changed to match the
presentation’s colors, when the presentation is
published to a Web format, the presentation blends
in with the Outline, Notes, and Presentation panes.
Coordination of the background colors makes for a
more polished and professional-looking online
presentation.
